These grab bars start out being fabricated using American quality craftsmanship from premium #304 stainless steel, to satisfy all dimensional and load requirements specified for ADA applications.  Then the real magic happens during a process called electroplating which is a difficult and time-consuming process but when done it is “well worth the while.”  The grab bars then have a special coating sealant applied to keep that polished brass from tarnishing and looking no different from the day you got them.  Now that’s a quality that you can depend on.  There is no use of inferior and thin mounting base plates that bend and flex under load leading to an increased risk of base plate flexing and slipping past the screw head during installation or when critical loads are exerted.   Our mounting base plates are made from the same gauged premium #304 stainless steel as the rest of the grab bar, and as the old saying goes “always start with a solid foundation” and that’s why we love our grab bars.
